Patreon video downloader
Creators on Patreon publish videos, podcasts and artwork, some of it public and much of it reserved for their members. SocialDownload saves the media of public posts on the website; for the posts your membership unlocks, the desktop app can use your own browser session.
Most Patreon posts are reserved for members, so they require a signed in session. The website can only reach public posts; the desktop app can use your own browser session for posts you are entitled to see. Respect the creator's terms and never redistribute member content.

How to download in three steps
- 01
Copy the post link
Open the post on Patreon and copy its address from the browser, or use the share option of the post. The link contains /posts/.
- 02
Paste it on SocialDownload
Paste the link here. For a post reserved for members, paste it in the desktop app, which uses your browser session.
- 03
Choose and download
Tick Video, Audio or Cover, then download. Images attached to the post are offered when Patreon exposes them.
Good to know
- Videos embedded from YouTube or Vimeo are hosted there: paste the original link instead.
- Member posts are made for you as a supporter. Keep them for your own use and never share them with people who are not members.
- Check the creator's own rules: some allow downloads, others ask members not to keep copies.
Questions about Patreon
Can I download Patreon videos I paid for?
Yes, for your own use, with the desktop app: it uses your browser session, so it sees the posts your membership unlocks. The website can only reach public posts.
Why does a Patreon link fail on the website?
The post is probably reserved for members. The website has no access to your Patreon account; the desktop app does, through your own browser.
Can I download Patreon audio posts?
Yes. Tick Audio and choose MP3 or M4A.
Is the Patreon downloader free?
One public post per day is free, without an account, up to 720p. Credit packs of 20, 40 or 60 links work on the website, and member posts need the lifetime desktop app (47.99 EUR).
